Jun. 13th, 2026 10:42 pmmorbane posting in crossworksHello - I'm adjusting some guidance to try to make the best balance between types of combinations people want to request & types of assignments people would prefer to receive or not receive. Sorry to do this during sign-ups!
If, as a creator, you would prefer to create for a combination between distinctly different properties, please say so in your Notes to Mod, and I'll prioritize matches accordingly.
- I said you can't put different adaptations or versions of the same universe into the same request. Change - you can do this if you explicitly want characters from the two different versions to interact and react to each other. Please make it clear in your prompts that you're enthusiastic about this.
- I said you can't put different parts of the same universe (like different Star Trek or Marvel shows) into the same request. I checked back on previous guidance and see that I was less clear about that. Change - yes you can do this if there's a significant time, setting, or tone shift that sets these parts of canon apart, such that the characters wouldn't normally interact, and that a combination of the two canons would be a distinct crossover. Please don't select 'fusion' for a request like this.
- I said you can't put an umbrella fandom and a subset of the same fandom into the same request. Change - you can do this, and a creator can choose another part of the fandom to combine with the one you've chosen, but you don't get to choose which one. So if you put "MCU" and "Agatha All Along" into the same request, it's the creator's choice which part of the MCU to combine with Agatha All Along. Please don't select 'fusion' for a request like this.
