Crossworks

For anyone who's interested in a crossover/fusion exchange, [community profile] crossworks nominations are open until June 16th.

I have two slots left and three or four fandoms I'm considering. Four days to decide!

What have you nominated?

From the looks of the tagset, everything I would nominate is already covered. I'll have to ponder on it and see if there's anything I missed.

Henry Danger is interesting because, even though it canonically has several crossovers and it canonically has both time travel, aliens, and AUs, I have a really hard time tone-matching it to anything else. I just can’t imagine crossovers with pretty much anything else I’d watch.

I might throw the TP in, though there doesn’t seem to be much point since I’m always the only person requesting it.

BHUK was a great show — and not one I’d want to request. I’d much rather have BHUS. I ended up enjoying the latter show so much more once we got past the first season.

My perennial BHUS/TL request would definitely be on the list, too.

Edited: FK is in the same bucket as BHUK. The way it ended really killed my interest in the show too.

Yeah, I watched UK first too and really, really enjoyed it until the events of the third series. I didn’t like US the first time I saw it because it seemed like only a tepid rehash of UK. You’re the one who convinced me to give it another chance years later, and I’m really glad you did. Once it comes into its own, it’s an awesome show.

I’ve just been rewatching a lot of TL. It’s a show with so much untapped potential, and one that’s easy to work into crossovers.

I tried to pull together a sign up at the last minute last night, then realized that I couldn't do it adequately. Unfortunately, the last week just got to busy ... so I'm relegated to watching the pinch hits.

It's been a busy week. A tree fell on my roof (big repairs, but all living beings are fine), so the deadline kind of snuck up on me.

Hopefully I'll be able to join up next year.

It's going to be an expensive repair that will take some time to get done properly; however, the house is still habitable and we have good insurance, so mostly we're just dealing with inconvenience.

Well, it also makes for a good story and a lot of firewood. :/

Seriously, though, it's a big mess. I just keep reminding myself how easily it could have been worse.
