Your main fandom of the year?
I've kind of been flipping between fannish interests this year. Right now I'm into Flashpoint, but I don't think it's big enough to support status as a "main" fandom. Stargate probably still qualifies, at least back when stargateland was running. And I spent a lot of time reading Due South fic and watching vids, although I wouldn't say I was really active in the fandom.

Your favorite film you watched this year?
I don't remember seeing any films that really blew me away this year. Avengers was fun, Wilby Wonderful was sweet...maybe I need to see more movies next year.

Your favorite book read this year?
Again, there wasn't anything really memorable. I enjoyed the world building and plot twists in the Quadrail series, especially The Domino Pattern, I liked The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms and Hyperion, and I read every Jack Reacher and Murdoch Mysteries book in existence, but there were no clear favourites.

Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?
*Peruses list of this year's releases* Wow, a lot of albums came out this year that I might like. I should check those out.

Your favorite TV show of the year?
Flashpoint! Although I'm saying that partly because it just ended. I have a lot of other favourites too: Nikita, Justified, Elementary. I'm forgetting some, I'm sure.

Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Life, maybe. I didn't really get into the fandom, but I loved the show immensely until I ran out of episodes.

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
The lack of spaceships on TV. So sad!

Your fandom boyfriend of the year?
Spike Scarlatti. Or maybe Raylan Givens.

Your fandom girlfriend of the year?
Sam Carter, always. Also Rose Miller.

Your biggest squee moment of the year?
Probably some of the Due South fic I read. I watched the show back when it first aired, but I didn't really delve into the fandom until this year, and there's so much wonderful stuff there!

The most missed of your old fandoms?
Stargate. I met so many great people through that! And to be honest, I kind of miss being in a really big fandom.

The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
I'm not sure there are any. I mean, I'd like to fall in love with one of the shows or movies that inspired the current big fandoms so I could participate enthusiastically, but I can't force that.

Your biggest fan anticipations for the coming year?
Seeing Sergio Di Zio in This Is War in a couple of days? ;)

I have high hopes for the new Star Trek movie. Mostly, though, I'd really like to see a really good science fiction show on TV. I don't expect it to happen, but I can hope.

That vid. Sadly, there aren't any new ones. (Although that one is so awesome we hardly need more, apart from the fact that more spaceships are always good.)
