And of course, just as Lucifer gets interesting again after a bit of hit-and-miss season, it gets cancelled. So very sad.

I'm just hoping they didn't decide to end the season (and now series) on a cliffhanger.

ETA: And here's an article about the upcoming cliffhanger. Well, maybe someone will write a proper fic ending.

I'm hoping they had at least an idea it might end, so even if it's a cliffhanger, it's not a huge one.

Supposedly they filmed a couple of episodes that they were saving for next season. I wonder if there's any chance they'll be released on DVD at some point?

Apparently there was a tweet from a showrunner about the GIANT CLIFFHANGER coming up at the end of the season. I guess they were hoping they wouldn't be cancelled if they ended on a cliffhanger? Ha!

I wonder if anyone will be inspired to write fic.

I'm wondering if it will have the kind of cliffhanger ending that Forever did, with Chloe finally believing the truth, or if they're going to go for something more traditional, like a life in peril or Lucifer being sucked back to hell. I guess we'll see!

It feels like there are a lot of cancelled shows this year. Oh well, I guess new ones are coming.

It always hurts! I still miss a bunch of shows.

Yeah, looking at something that got renewed sounds like a plan. At least there's a guarantee of multiple seasons. (Occasionally I'm tempted to go with something that's already been cancelled but that got a decent run and solid ending. I think that might limit enthusiastic conversation, however.)

But hey, Brooklyn Nine-Nine got picked up after all! So there's that. And Lucifer doesn't belong to Fox, so I'm going to cling to hope a little longer there too.

I've been thinking about starting The Good Fight, just because it has two seasons and picked up for a third, and i've thought about watching it a few times.

Yes! B99 being picked up will at least get a good ending, if not more seasons. Agreed, Lucifer would be better somewhere else, but who knows.
