Oh my goodness. This is sooooo good. I love seeing Battle Creek through a stranger's eyes--wish I'd thought of that angle, it really opens up lots of possibilities. The small-town notion of setting up the table for goodies, lol.
Plus the insights into Milt, and that it is totally (potentially) canon, and that it leaves more questions than it answers, so typical of Milt and this show.
Plus the image of Russ. I really struggled, writing in this fandom for these first few times, how to describe him and find his voice. You've really done it. SIGH it makes me miss the show even more, as I believe I've said before. I think I must pursue other fic in this fandom and maybe try to bump up my own writing in it...
