(It's different from the US version, where Aidan is quite bright and the mistakes and poor choices he makes generally arise from either blood-addiction or being in a position where there are no good choices available.)

I suppose it makes sense that the timelines would be different, given that it's six episodes vs. thirteen. Some things would have to change. This version feels a bit rushed to me, but I wonder if people who watch the UK version first will find the US version drags?
