I am reading all these with great attention! I'm not commenting because (1) I'm mad busy, as you know, (2) I'm spending all my meager hobby time nudging people to sign up for FKFicFest (c'mon... ~grin~), (3) I'm fascinatingly puzzled by how to respond when I don't want to spoil you on the UK version and I have no clue about the US version; this is a peculiar nexus of reinterpretation that I've never visited before!
A few very bare-bones notes: Mitchell is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. George is younger than he looks. Owen is SO creepy. Josie'll be back; I love Josie (like you couldn't guess that a million miles away). The timelines are clearly different between the two versions; some things will happen way in the future from where you are now, while others won't happen at all.
Do you follow Wiliqueen on LJ? She did fun, passionate discussions of the UK episodes as they first aired, and her tags will lead you to them if you want.
