Thank you so much for writing for me! I'm really looking forward to seeing what you write!
So first, everything here is optional. If you have a brilliant idea for a story, please go ahead and write it, and don't worry about my specific requests. I'd rather just read a good story. (Although if you can try to avoid my "do not wants," I'd appreciate that.)
Second, I'm flexible on both genre and rating. Action, introspection, plot, character studies, slice of life, gen, romance...it's all good. And so is anything from G to NC-17. Whatever the story calls for.

Things I Like: In general, I'm a fan of first times of all kinds, competence (so much love for characters being competent!), friendship, understated romance, secrets being revealed (or concealed), stories that draw on the characters' pasts, and stories that pick up dropped plot threads. Happy fic is good, and so is mild to moderate angst with a happy or hopeful or bittersweet ending.
Things I'd Rather Not Read: Major power imbalances in romantic or sexual relationships (including Dom/sub and A/B/O), PWP, long and detailed descriptions of recoveries from traumatic events, permanent mental or physical injuries to major characters that don't occur in canon, and crack. I'd also rather avoid a complete AU (coffee shop AUs, high school AUs, et cetera). However, what-if, fork-in-the-road AUs are welcome. (The one exception to the no-AU rule is noir detective AUs. I'm always up for a good hardboiled detective story.)
Other Things: I have squicks but no triggers. I'm okay with character death, including main characters. Non-con is fine in the background if it's helpful for the story, but I'd rather it not be the primary focus of the story, and I'd prefer it if none of the protagonists were responsible.
I also have a bunch of rambling about what I like and don't like in fic here. Please don't think it's necessary to read that! I'm just dropping the link in case all of my specific suggestions have you pulling out your hair, and you're desperately seeking an alternative idea.
Battlestar Galactica
Requested Characters: Lee Adama, Laura Roslin
Lee and Laura's relationship was one of my favourite things about the first season of BSG; I loved Laura as Lee's political mentor, and I loved Lee tutoring Laura on the military and trying to facilitate her relationship with his father.
I'd love to see more of them with a supportive rather than antagonistic relationship. Or slowly reconciling and moving back toward a supportive relationship. Or at least something more complicated than pure antagonism. I prefer friendship to ship fic, since I'm rather fond of Laura/Bill, but if you have an absolutely brilliant idea for Lee/Laura (especially something set before she gets together with Bill), I'll totally read it.
Specific, entirely optional suggestions:
- Anything dealing with Laura's influence vs. Romo's. Maybe an AU where Romo, Lee and Laura interacted under difference circumstances, or maybe Romo and Laura talked about Lee. Whatever.
- An AU where Lee stepped in as Laura's political heir in some other way.
- An alternate ending, where Laura lives and she and Lee help set up the new colony. (Preferably one where they didn't decide to abandon all technology, because I hated that part.)
Or a general action story, or an exchange of advice, or anything you want to write, really. Plus the hardboiled detective option is always there. ;)
As far as related ships go, I love Laura/Bill and I'll happily read about any combination of Lee/Kara, Lee/Dee, and Kara/Sam. (Really, I'll read about any canon pairing. And also Lee/Sam. Or Kara/Sam/Lee. In case you need ships to make the story work. But feel free to leave them out if they're not needed.)

As suggested by the 'any characters' request, I'm really not too picky here. I love the characters, I love the humour and vibe of the show, and I'll read pretty much anything drawing on that. If there's a particular detail you've ever wanted to write about (Shirley's home life? One of Jeff's early cases? Abed, Troy, and Annie as roommates? Where everyone is ten years from now?), go for it!
I'm fond of Jeff/Britta, and of Jeff & Britta scheming together with good intentions and questionable methods (or effective methods and questionable intentions), so anything focusing on either of those things would be fun.
I'd also enjoy more of Annie and Britta (and Shirley?) bonding. I'm a sucker for girls' night out-type stories, or the two/three of them getting into trouble together, or the two/three of them getting other people out of trouble.
Or have everyone/some select few dealing with some emergency together. Blizzards. Floods. Bank robberies. A new security system locks them all in one building. Everyone suddenly acquires super powers (or just one of them acquires a super power). Totally realistic and completely ridiculous scenarios are both welcome.
And as a wildcard, not-expecting-to-get-it request, I recently re-watched "A Fistful of Paintballs" and would love to read fic featuring Annie with The Black Rider. A one night stand. Annie going to see Coldplay after all. Running into The Black Rider in some other context and having it turn into something. Whatever, but preferably something where he's not a bad guy, relationship-wise.
P.S. I know I talk about some characters more than others here, but I'm honestly good with any of them. If you want to talk about Troy and Abed having whacky adventures, or what Pierce would do if he could suddenly turn invisible, go for it! I don't have specific ideas for everyone, but I'm still happy to read about them.
Elementary
Requested Characters: Joan Watson, Sherlock Holmes, Marcus Bell
For this request, please don't feel like you have to write all three characters. I'd really like to see Marcus, but if you want to drop either Joan or Sherlock, go ahead.
For Marcus and Sherlock: I love the little character moments on Elementary, the moments when the characters admit their vulnerabilities to each other and are met with compassion, so anything like that would be welcome. That scene outside of Marcus's welcome back party was one of my favourite moments between them, and if you want to write about some other incident of emotional support (or write about the cup of coffee they grabbed together), I'd love to read it.
On the other hand, I also love how much Sherlock irritates Marcus, especially earlier in the series, and I'd totally read some sort of tropey, trapped-together fic about the two of them. Handcuffed together. Locked up somewhere. Undercover as a couple. Whatever. (I'd rather keep it gen than turn them into a couple, though.)
For Marcus and Joan: I could go either gen or ship. Have them start a relationship. Have them commiserate over the challenges of working with Sherlock. Have them solve their own case together without him. Have them accidentally discover they share a hobby. Whatever you like.
Or hey, send all three of them on a road trip or have them work together to save Gregson from some threat or just put them together for movie night.
(Also, I love Sherlock and Joan's friendship, but I'm not much of a shipper, so while a little UST is okay, I'd rather them not be written in a full-blown romantic/sexual relationship.)
Person of Interest
Requested Characters: Sam Shaw, Zoe Morgan
I'd really love to see something where Shaw and Zoe are working together. They have completely different skill sets and approaches, and something where they both get to shine a little would be awesome. Maybe Shaw needs one of Zoe's contacts, or Zoe needs some muscle, or Root sends them on a mission together? Or Shaw needs a place to hide out for a bit, or Zoe needs a bodyguard after a job goes badly and Reese is busy.
Alternately, having them hang out would be fun too. Girls' poker night? Shopping trip (...for new weapons?)?
I love all of the characters on Person of Interest and will happily read about any of them, so feel free to have anyone you like tag along. Including Carter, if you want to set it a bit earlier.
Ship-wise, I like Zoe/Reese, I'm not really a Reese/Finch shipper, I'm neutral on Shaw/Root, and I don't see Shaw going for Zoe when she knows Zoe and Reese are (sort of) together. And as always, feel free to keep it completely gen if you prefer.

The plots and characters on this show are just so rich that there are dozens of things that could be filled in, and I'll read pretty much any of them.
A few completely optional, semi-specific ideas:
- Marshal case fic is always welcome, especially stories where Raylan isn't the one responsible for their predicament (since we rarely get that on the show).
- Anything about Tim's or Rachel's or Art's life outside of the show. Rachel's marriage. Tim's time in the army. Art's family. Whatever it is any of them do in their spare time.
- Raylan finally going down to see his daughter.
- Art and Raylan as friends back at Glynco.
- Ava and Boyd rebuilding after the end of last season.
- Anything with Raylan and Loretta, especially if it involves him helping her to see a future for herself beyond Harlan.
- Anything that has Raylan actually learn from his mistakes and stop rushing into things.
- Raylan and Boyd's final confrontation (i.e., how do you think the show will end?).
As far as ships go, I love Ava and Boyd together (and I'm a little sad about what the most recent season did to their relationship), I like Raylan/Tim (all that competence and stoicism and rarely talking about how they feel and I love stories where they figure out the other's interested or where they realize what started as a casual relationship has somehow become serious), and I'm always good with canon and OC relationships.
